InSite Group and Cube Capital to Convert Miami's Continental South Beach
Oceanfront Hotel to B Hotels & Resorts

Fort Lauderdale, FL – June 6, 2011 – After unveiling its brand concept last September and opening its first property in January 2011, B Hotels & Resorts® today announced the next hotel to B added to its growing portfolio.  The 250-key Continental Oceanfront South Beach Hotel, located at 18th Street and Collins Avenue in world famous Miami Beach, Florida, is ideally situated directly on the beach in the renowned Art Deco District.  Within two blocks of the Miami Beach Convention Center, Lincoln Road, and the historic Jackie Gleason Theater, the hotel is also just blocks from Ocean Drive, world-class shopping, dining and nightlife. The property is expected to remain operational during the renovation and repositioning and will be launched as part of the B Hotels & Resorts® family in late fall 2012.

“We are excited to announce the location of our much-anticipated second hotel,” said CEO and President Ayelet Weinstein.  “In a short period of time, we have built a base of brand loyalists who have been awaiting news of future B Hotels & Resorts® properties.  We look forward to welcoming those who are familiar with our brand new hospitality alternative in South Beach, as well as those who have not yet experienced all that we have to offer.”

Revolutionizing traditional hotel branding since its debut in 2010, B Hotels & Resorts® is led by Weinstein and Corporate Vice President Christopher Tompkins, along with an Advisory Council of experts from various segments of the travel industry.  Headquartered in South Florida, the brand is an innovative alternative for the conversion of existing flagged and independent hotels.  With three property designations – Hotel, Resort and Boutique – B Hotels & Resorts® has an aggressive growth strategy with the goal of establishing a hotel brand focused on self-expression and approachability.

The first B Hotels & Resorts® property – B Ocean Fort Lauderdale – opened in January 2011, setting the tone for the brand’s unique guest experience.  Located on the acclaimed Fort Lauderdale Beach, the hotel is minutes from the Las Olas art/entertainment district, Port Everglades and the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport.  B Ocean Fort Lauderdale features 240 oceanview guest rooms, panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, complimentary wireless internet access, iPAD loaners, an infinity-edge pool with private open-air cabanas, 8,000 square-feet of meeting space called B on Top™, Quench Pool & Patio Bar, and two distinctive dining concepts.  The award-winning SAIA features sushi and Asian grill offerings and B’stro on the Beach™ offers organic fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Several now-popular B Hotels & Resorts® Signatures made their debut at B Ocean Fort Lauderdale and will be incorporated at the new B in South Beach once renovations are complete. These include B Ambiance™, B Social™,  B in Touch™, B Nourished™, B Active™, B Indulged™, B Wed™, B Adventurous™, The Blissful Bed™, B Humane™ and B Sensitive™.

The Continental Oceanfront South Beach Hotel is owned by InSite Group and Cube Capital, which acquired the property for $61,000,000 in a joint venture earlier this year.
