Washington, DC, April 2011 … The Eldon Luxury Suites Hotel, located at 933 L Street in Washington, DC, has named Vinh Nguyen General Manager for the property.  Opened just two years ago, The Eldon Luxury Suites Hotel is situated in an historic 1920s building with retrofitted interiors providing 50 contemporary suites.  The property is near the Washington Convention Center, and with walking distance to Ford’s Theatre, Chinatown, Lafayette Square, the White House, US Capitol and the National Mall attractions.  Walter Kohlross, Managing Partner for Key Management Group, which operates the hotel, made the announcement. <>“I am very pleased to announce Vinh’s promotion to General Manager,” said Mr. Kohlross.  “He has been an important part of this property since preopening, and we welcome him to this important leadership role.”  

A native of Washington, DC, Vinh Nguyen was previously Assistant General Manager for The Eldon Luxury Suites.  He began with the property during the preopening phase, responsible to the owner for sourcing materials for the hotel’s new suites, and eventually served as Accountant for the hotel throughout its pre-opening and soft opening periods.  He has also managed the Front Office for The Eldon.

Earlier in his career, Nguyen served as Construction Superintendent for Smokey Interiors of Washington, DC, and gained sales experience working for Déjà Vu Audio of McLean, Virginia.

Vinh Nguyen earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Maryland.  He resides in Bethesda, Maryland.
