Biltmore has named veteran hospitality food and beverage executive John
E.
Braun, who has 24 years of hotel experience, the historic resort’s
director of
food and beverage. Braun comes to the Arizona Biltmore from the Hyatt Regency Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he was executive assistant manager/director of food & beverage for seven years. Previously, he held the same position for three years at the Hyatt Harborside in Boston. During the 1990s in New York, he served as the director of food & beverage operations at the Novotel, Park Central Hotel and Sheraton New York. “With John’s decades of experience at major hotels, he is the ideal leader to oversee the extensive and multi-faceted food and beverage operations at the Arizona Biltmore,” said General Manager Andrew Stegen. In his new position, Braun’s scope of responsibility includes overseeing six different restaurants and lounges, 24-hour room service for 740 guest accommodations, and business and social catering.
