Orlando, FL – April 22, 2011 - The Morgans Hotel Group has been bestowed the Visionary Award by Hospitality Technology Magazine for its deployment of Intelity ICE (Interactive Customer Experience ™) Touch on iPad at The Royalton in New York. Noted as a “Customer-facing/In-room Technology Innovator”, the Morgans Hotel Group installed ICE Touch in September 2010 and has since then expanded an enhanced version of the product to its Mondrian SoHo property. The Royalton was the first hotel to ever launch ICE Touch on iPad, raising the bar and redefining luxury for the hotel industry. By doing so, Morgans has sprung a new technological revolution within the industry. In 2011, ICE Touch on iPad has become the “it” accessory for hotel rooms with many other hotels signed up to include the feature as part of their guest services amenities. “Nothing could really be more gratifying to us than to see one of our partners be recognized by a leading industry organization like Hospitality Technology,” said Intelity CEO, David Adelson. “At the end of the day, we designed this product to help the hotel industry achieve new heights in guest services and operational efficiencies, so this is a huge compliment for the work we have done.” Aside from bringing a new level of swank to the hotel, ICE helps to dramatically increase revenue and staff efficiency throughout the property. Since its September 2010 launch at The Royalton, 1,279 meals have been ordered using the iPads, for a total of $20,205 in food and beverage revenue. Additionally, ICE helps to save up to 90 percent on printing costs, making for a more sustainable business model as well. “We are thrilled to be recognized for this virtual extension of our commitment to providing a dynamic and innovative guest experience at our hotels,” says Kim Walker, senior vice president of marketing and creative director for Morgans Hotel Group. “We look forward to offering the service throughout our portfolio.” About Intelity Intelity, headquartered in Orlando, Florida, is a hospitality software solution company focused on the self-service marketplace.
