This new hotel showcases the successful completion of the $1 billion Holiday Inn global brand relaunch, the biggest ever project of its kind in the history of the hospitality industry. The relaunch includes a renewed focus on quality, improved arrival and welcome features, enhanced bedding and showers, a "Stay Real" service culture and a new, up to date look, including a redesigned logo and signage.

Following a $10 million conversion from an Embassy Suites, the hotel now has a contemporary modern feel. The interactive lobby includes a bar and bistro area, which opens into a lush garden courtyard with resort seating, fire pits, gazebo, pool and whirlpool spa. The 100 percent smoke-free hotel also includes a 24-hour fitness center and two restaurants – the 44th Street Bistro serving lunch and dinner and the Palm Court Grill serving breakfast.
Located in the heart of the 44th Street business corridor, at the corner of 44th Street and East McDowell Road, the hotel is close to many corporate offices including ON Semiconductor and Honeywell. It is also just two miles from the area’s Army National Guard post.
For business travelers the hotel includes a 24-hour business center as well as complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access throughout the facility. It also features 12,000 square feet of meeting space, which can comfortably accommodate up to 400 people.
For leisure travelers, the Holiday Inn & Suites Phoenix – Airport North is less than two miles from The Phoenix Zoo and the Desert Botanical Gardens and not far from Old Town Scottsdale. Located near the Metro light rail, Interstate 143 and Arizona Highway 202, the hotel is just a short drive from shopping, restaurants and entertainment.
The hotel’s guestroom accommodations are relaxing and contemporary, designed with a soft color palette and outfitted with a 42” LCD HD television. Guestrooms also include comfortable double, queen or king-sized beds, a sitting area with a lounge chair, cable television, hairdryer, coffee maker, iron and ironing board. Guest beds are made using crisp, white bedding with pillows that come in two comfort levels: “soft” and “firm.” Bathrooms include a specially designed showerhead that offers superior pressure, as well as a signature shower curtain with curved rod and new amenities. Guestrooms provide a work desk and ergonomic chair, data ports, complimentary USA TODAY® newspapers and in-room check-out capabilities.
Consistent with Holiday Inn hotels, the hotel will offer the Holiday Inn Best-4-Breakfastâ menu, featuring signature items such as Cinnamon Supreme French Toast™ and Skillet Inspirations™. Kids 12 and younger eat free at Holiday Inn when ordering from the kids’ menu in the hotel restaurant and accompanied by a dining adult. The hotel is owned by Jordan Hotels LLP and managed by Ocean Properties LTD under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group.
