Meeting Professionals International Nominates Candidates for
2011‐2012 International Board of Directors

March 1, 2011 – Dallas, TX – Meeting Professionals International (MPI) announced the slate of candidates for its 2011‐2012 International Board of Directors today. All MPI members will receive official notice of the slate later today via the website.

"Essential skills and competencies are always required for volunteer leadership serving on the international board of directors. During this important time of recovery and shift to a new reality for our industry, we are confident these bold leaders will contribute to moving forward our global meetings and events community," said Ann Godi, CMP, chair of the MPI governance and nominating committee and president of Benchmarc360°, Inc.

Pending membership approval, Board and Executive Committee member selections are effective July 1, 2011 for FY 2011‐2012.

The Slate of Officers for the Executive Committee includes:
