that Joshua Butler
has been named director of sales for the Hampton Inn Pensacola Beach
Gulf
Front. The 181-room hotel is located at 2 Via DeLuna Drive on Pensacola
Beach.
In his new role, Butler will direct all sales and marketing for the
hotel
including its social media marketing campaign.Prior to joining the Hampton Inn, Butler was associate director of services for Economic Opportunity Commission of Nassau County, Inc. in Long Island, NY. From 2006 – 2009 he worked in the service industry in Nagoya Japan. Butler holds a Master’s in business administration from Long Island University and a Bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Kansas. “Based on Mr. Butler’s experience in marketing, and his understanding of social media and cutting edge marketing concepts, he’ll be instrumental in our continued success of the Hampton Inn,” said Sandra Fontenot, general manager. The importance of social media to overall hotel sales efforts continues to grow. Eighty-nine percent of adult American travelers looked for information online last year, according to Y Partnership’s report, “Travel, Leisure & Entertainment Marketing.” And ninety-one percent of adult travelers have a Facebook page. The Hampton Inn Pensacola Beach Gulf Front is located directly on the beach and within walking distance from shopping and restaurants as well as all local beach entertainment.
