The Employee of the Year Award is presented to an employee that exemplifies the brand’s Yes I Can! service philosophy to deliver vibrant, contemporary and engaging hospitality. Thorsten Kirschke, chief operating officer, Carlson Hotels and president, Carlson Hotels, Americas, presented the award to Valentim at the company’s recent Global Business Conference.

Marcel Berube, general manger of the Radisson Hotel Calgary Airport noted Albina, who has been with the hotel since 1988, is well loved by both associates and guests. Treating the hotel like her second home, she is constantly in the lobby ensuring that the first impression for everyone who walks through the door is positive.
