Touring & Tasting Magazine Creates Comprehensive Hotel/Resort
Wine and Culinary Events Calendar

Santa Barbara, CA – January 10, 2011
For 16 years, the trusted resource for wine, food, and travel, Touring & Tasting magazine is embarking on another innovative project: the assemblage of a thorough wine and culinary event calendar. The new print and online calendar will promote food and culinary-paired events planned by hotels, resorts, bed and breakfasts, and inns throughout the country

“Since our magazine, website, and wine clubs are built solely around wine, food, and travel, we get numerous inquiries regarding special events from our online and print audiences who are looking for ultimate pairings of wine and food,” Managing Director Dan Fox explains. “There are so many extraordinary food and wine events at renowned accommodations, and we thought it would be a great service to all involved to pool our extensive resources and build a comprehensive guide for consumers and meeting planners spotlighting as many as we can.”

Touring & Tasting is actively inviting members of the hospitality industry (representing hotels, resorts, bed and breakfasts, and inns) to submit all wine and culinary pairing events they have planned between now, through January 2012. Since Touring & Tasting is providing this resource to both its readers and the hospitality industry as a service, there is no cost for representation in the calendar. Press release submissions should be sent to no later than February 14, 2011.

Touring & Tasting magazine and has also introduced a Gold Medal Accommodations feature in print and online with the release of its Spring 2011 edition, now in full regional and national distribution. As a semi-annual publication with a targeted distribution of over 50,000 copies, Touring & Tasting magazine enjoys six months of distribution in all Barnes & Noble, Borders, Hudson News, and other upscale newsstand outlets. Touring & Tasting is also distributed to subscribers and wedding, meeting and incentive planners; at industry trade shows; and in the guest rooms of many of the country’s finest hotels and resorts.
