DALLAS (January 11, 2011) – La Quinta Inns & Suites, the fastest-growing select service brand in the hotel industry, announced that industry veteran Mark Heisler has been appointed to the position of Director of Development for the Midwest. Heisler has management experience in the industry dating to 1986. He joins La Quinta after holding senior management positions at Paramount Lodging Advisors and Hostmark Hospitality Group, both in the Chicago area; and Starwood Hotels & Resorts, based in White Plains, New York. Heisler will be based in Chicago, and will report to David Wilner, La Quinta’s Corporate Vice President of Development, in Dallas.
