PAR Springer-Miller Welcomes Khaled Abed

Hotel Professional to Lead EMEA Expansion

STOWE, VT — February 2, 2011 — PAR Springer-Miller Systems, Inc. (PSMS) --- a wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE:PAR) and the leading provider of guest-centric hospitality management systems --- today announces the appointment of Khaled Abed as Regional Sales Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
 
Mr. Abed brings many years of experience within the hospitality industry. As Regional Sales Manager, Mr. Abed will nurture strategic partnerships in the EMEA region. A native of Beirut, Lebanon Mr. Abed is a graduate of the Hotel Management School in Fulda, Germany and is fluent in several languages.
 
Prior to joining PAR Springer-Miller, Mr. Abed most recently held the position of Major Accounts Manager with MICROS-Fidelio in Neuss, Germany where he had account management and sales responsibilities for some of MICROS’ largest global customers. His background includes positions with various hotel companies in Europe including Crowne Plaza Hotels, Sheraton, Le Méridien, Kempinski, Dorint, and an assortment of independent hotel properties in Switzerland and Germany. 
 
Mr. Abed resides in Dusseldorf, Germany and he will be based there in the PAR Springer-Miller office.
