HSMAI University’s Spring Webinar Line-up to Focus on Geolocation Marketing,
Online Review Channels and Outlook for 2011


MCLEAN, VA (Feb. 24, 2011) – The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) and HSMAI University present a spring webinar lineup designed  to empower participants to fuel sales, inspire marketing, and optimize revenue within their businesses. Each of the specialized webinars, created and developed for those involved in hospitality sales, marketing and revenue management, focuses on one of today’s hottest topics, including geolocation marketing, online review channels, traveler intentions, and the outlook for 2011.

Each webinar incorporates a 60-minute presentation conducted live via the Internet with an audio conference link.

2011 – Where Are We and Where Are We Going?
Date: March 01, 2011
Presenters: Jan D. Freitag, vice president of global development for STR, and Robert Mandelbaum, director of research information services for Colliers PKF Hospitality Research, will discuss forecasts for 2011 by chain-scale and select major markets with special emphasis on the new chain scales, “upper mid-scale and mid-scale,” unit-level hotel profits, and special analyses of a variety of topics.

How to Turn Loyal Customers into Salespeople
Date: March 10, 2011
Presenters: Rob Fuggetta, founder and CEO of Zuberance; John Moser, CMO of Denihan Hotel Group; and Robin Korman, senior vice president of loyalty marketing and strategic partnerships at Wyndham Hotel Group, will demonstrate how to energize brand advocates and use them to boost bookings and pass along positive word of mouth.
