Independent, Luxury-Focused Boutique Hotel Named “Le St-Germain Suite Hotel”

The Locally Owned and Managed Hotel Has Been Accepted Into Worldhotels,
The
World’s 11th- Largest Hotel Group

St Cloud, M.N. (Feb. 11, 2011) – Graves Hospitality Corporation recently announced that on March 1st, 2011, the Radisson Suite Hotel will become St. Cloud’s first luxury-boutique hotel and will undergo a strategic rebranding under the name Le St-Germain Suite Hotel. In a testament to the hotel’s level of service and amenities, the Le St-Germain Suite Hotel was just accepted into the prestigious Worldhotels group, an exclusive collection of over 500 of the world's most unique, independent hotels with locations in over 250 destinations in 65 countries.

“The ownership, management and team-members will remain the same as the spaces, amenities and services are enhanced,” explained Benjamin Graves, president of Graves Hospitality Corporation, the company that owns and manages the Le St-Germain Suite Hotel. “Graves Hospitality currently owns and manages 13 hotels and restaurants, and this move strategically elevates our St. Cloud hotel into our portfolio of unique, upscale, experience-based properties,” he continued. Current reservations and bookings will continue uninterrupted as improvements are made.

Partnering with Worldhotels, the world’s 11th largest hospitality company aligns with the hotel’s business objectives, as the Le St-Germain Suite Hotel will gain exposure to a significant new audience and multiple distribution channels, including Worldhotels.com. “The Le St-Germain Suite Hotel is a spectacular addition to the Worldhotels family,” said Tom Griffiths, vice president of Worldhotels. “We are proud to be affiliated with Graves Hospitality Corporation, a well-established hotel company that is making its mark in the lodging industry with innovative concepts and a commitment to excellence.” The prestigious Worldhotels group includes fantastic hotels such as the 5-star Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, 5-star Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel and Resort in Monte Carlo, 5-star Hotel De Sers-Paris Champs Elysees in Paris, and Graves Hospitality's New York property, Hotel Williamsburg, which opens April of 2011.

The decision to move the hotel into the upscale market comes on the heels of positive changes in St. Cloud’s downtown and community. “St. Cloud simply continues to evolve for the better and we want to create a destination, luxury-focused hotel that reflects those changes,” explained Benjamin Graves. “The city’s investment in the Civic Center expansion, which is physically connected to the hotel, definitely played into our decision making, as did the ongoing beautification of the riverfront and the strength and diversity of downtown businesses and retail,” he continued. For the past 18 months, the hotel has been undergoing numerous renovations and upgrades to the public and private spaces. These enhancements will continue with a French-themed focus, including such changes as an upgrade to Hermes toiletries. Patrons will also enjoy a return to award-winning dining with a new hotel restaurant named De La Pointe, opening spring of 2011.

Graves Hospitality Corporation was started in St. Cloud 32 years ago. It opened the original hotel in 1990.
