Barcelo Hotels & Resorts Appoints Stephanie Eppler as Director of
Meetings & Incentives for the South Central Region of the USA

FAIRFAX, Va., October 4, 2010 - Barcelo Hotels & Resorts today announced the appointment of Stephanie Eppler as Director of Meeting & Incentive Sales for the South Central region of the USA.   She is headquartered in Dallas, TX.  Ms. Eppler joins the North American team of sales and incentive specialists who support the meeting and incentive business for Barcelo's portfolio of worldwide hotels and resorts.

Ms. Eppler brings more than 20 years of hospitality sales experience to her new position.  Most recently she was the Director of Global Sales for Kempinski Hotels.  She has also served as the Director of Sales for the Morgans Hotel Group and Director of Global Sales & Incentives for Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts, as well as holding sales management positions with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Hilton Hotels Corporation.
