Patrick H. Hagen Appointed General Manager of the Golf-
und Wellnesshotel Balmer See
Located on the Island of Usedom, a Baltic Sea Island
on the Border Between
Germany and Poland
October 11, 2010 - The experienced Hotel Manager Patrick H. Hagen changes from Leipzig, Germany to the Baltic Sea Coast and is responsible for the management of the only golf Hotel on the island of Usedom with three golf courses with record-breaking 45 holes and excellent Spa facilities. Especially the continuous development of personally tailored guest services and streamlining organizational processes are Patrick H. Hagens focus in his new task. Taking charge of the Food & Beverage Department is Hagen's former Food and Beverage Manager from the Radisson Blu, Leipzig, Andreas Steudtemann who will vouch for the excellent quality of the Hotel's three restaurants. The Dutchman Patrick H. Hagen (40) is an experienced Hotel Manager with extensive international experience in the luxury hospitality industry. After studying economics in the Netherlands and hotel management studies in the U.S., he held various management positions with international hotel chains such as Westin, Marriott and Fairmont in California.
About his new challenge on the island of Usedom Hagen is particularly pleased: "The combination of nature and relaxation, spa and exceptional golf course, make the Golf Hotel & Spa Balmer See unique. Located only two and a half hours from Hamburg and Berlin, the property invites you to relax - whether for a weekend stay or a longer vacation time, whether with family or golf friends. I see my task in inspiring loyal guests with gentle changes and to attract new guests." The long time California resident was probably also convinced by the averaging 1,917 hours of sunshine making Usedom one of the sunniest regions in Germany. With Andreas Steudtemann (39) has Patrick H. Hagen a very experienced Food & Beverage Manager on his side, looking out for, but also looking outside of the proverbial box. His career path included Radisson Blu Hotels as well as Lindner Hotels & resorts and Holiday Inn in Cottbus, Leipzig. Andreas Steudtemann has also studied business management in the hospitality industry. In addition, he can look back on industry experience in the energy industry and a nine-year career in the army.
