Paris - October 22, 2010: After more than 15 years running Paris' Hotel Bristol, Pierre Ferchaud has made the move to Hotel Fouquet's Barrière where he has been appointed General Manager.

Ferchaud's illustrious career began in 1968 after graduating from the Ecole Hôtelière de Strasbourg.  He has worked at some of Europe's finest hotels, including the Grosvenor House in London, the Meurice and Prince de Galles in Paris and the Palace in Madrid.  He has also worked at the Society Nouvelle du Grand Hotel (SNGH), where he served in the company's head office in addition to serving as Resident Manager at Paris' Grand Hotel, one of the company's individual properties. From 1988 to 1993, Ferchaud worked for the Concorde Hotels Group as the company's Senior Executive Vice-President and then as General Manager of the Hotel Concorde Lafayette.

In 1993 Ferchaud became General Manager of the Hotel Bristol in Paris, one of the world's most prestigious hotels. With his arrival at Hotel Fouquet's Barrière, Ferchaud is committed to bringing the same level of care and commitment to excellence by which his career has been marked.
