Midas Hospitality Acquires 77-room Hampton Inn - Columbia, Illinois

SAINT LOUIS, MO, October 6, 2010 – St. Louis-based hotel owner, operator and developer, Midas Hospitality announces the acquisition of the Hampton Inn - Columbia, IL.
Just months after announcing the acquisition of the new Candlewood Suites – Champaign, IL, scheduled to open in December 2010, Midas Hospitality announces further company growth with the acquisition of the 77-room, Hampton Inn in Columbia, IL. 
David Robert, states “We continue to be very selective, yet aggressive in our strategic company growth.”  The announcement of the Hampton Inn – Columbia, IL acquisition marks the third Midas Hospitality hotel acquisition in the last 90-days.  Midas Hospitality recently announced the groundbreaking of the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Paducah, KY, scheduled to open 2nd quarter, 2011 and just announced the acquisition of the, under construction, Candlewood Suites – Champaign, IL just last month, scheduled to open in December, 2010.
