NASHVILLE, Fla., Nov., 2010-- White Lodging is pleased to announce the addition of the Nashville Marriott at Vanderbilt University to their management portfolio.  White Lodging assumed management of the property on October 1, 2010. The acquisition marks White Lodging's first managed property in Nashville and first contract with owners Betawest, Ltd.  The property becomes the eighth addition to the White Lodging portfolio in 2010 and the 11th Marriott-affiliated full service hotel management contract for the company.  

The Marriott hotel is located in the heart of the prestigious Vanderbilt University. With a location in Nashville's West End district, the property is just minutes from Vanderbilt Medical Center Hospital, downtown Nashville, Centennial Park and the famed Parthenon.  The hotel features 307 deluxe guest rooms, including six suites, an Executive level and lounge. Over 40 of the deluxe guestrooms have direct views into the Vanderbilt Commodores football stadium and are highly desired during home games, concerts and special events.  In addition, the hotel offers a wide array of amenities which include Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the hotel, 32-inch flat-panel TVs, upgraded bath amenities, indoor pool and over 11,000 square feet of flexible function space.
