Business Travel Is Rebounding – Sabre Hospitality Solutions offers 20 Ways

SOUTHLAKE, TX November 18, 2010 – According to a recent article in Business Travel News, 2011 will see a significant rebound in business travel. Sabre Hospitality Solutions, the leading distribution and marketing provider for the hospitality industry, will host a complimentary webinar to help hoteliers prepare for the comeback in business travel by maximizing their presence on the Global Distribution Systems (GDS) channel.

The webinar, which is scheduled for December 8th, will focus on agency/corporate traveler shopping and how hoteliers can improve their production through this critical but often overlooked channel.  Using 'best case' examples, each attendee will follow the presentation using the GDS HOD profile for their own hotel.

The session will be offered at 3pm GMT, or:

  • 4pm Central Europe time
  • 11pm Singapore time
Bruce Hyatt, vice president, marketing and strategy for Sabre Hospitality Solutions, will introduce the session and provide insight on relevant hospitality industry trends.

Industry veteran Laura Thompson, Sabre Hospitality Solutions’ Agency Solutions Consultant with more than 20 years’ experience in the travel industry, will present insight on how travel agents shop, how preferred rates are accessed and how hotels can increase production through improved data. Thompson, who holds the prestigious CCTE designation from the National Business Travel Association (NBTA), will present registrants with a copy of their hotel’s HOD data in advance of the session to follow along.
