News for the Hospitality Executive |
Miami Beach, FL and Albuquerque,
NM — November 8, 2010 — In July of 2010, all four
Cambean Hospitality Hotels
switched to
InnPoints
Worldwide for GDS distribution and website
booking engine services. Just four short months later, the Carlton
Hotel, the
Majestic Hotel, the Clifton Hotel and Hotel Nash, all located in the
Art Deco
historic area of Miami Beach, are celebrating the positive results of
InnPoints
dedicated service and global reservation solutions with an overall
reservation
increase of 60% since the switch.
Cambean Hospitality Hotels turned to InnPoints Worldwide, provider of reservation solutions for over 1,800 hotels globally, to secure a reservation marketing strategy for its four Miami Beach hotels. With a struggling economy and a dip in occupancy, Cambean was in search of fresh ideas and advanced tools to expand its market and drive revenue. InnPoints Worldwide now provides the group with GDS distribution through its central reservation system, MyCRS, along with website booking engine services through VIBE, the versatile internet booking engine, and private label voice. “We are very pleased with the quality and level of services that InnPoints has supplied over these first few months of our relationship. InnPoints has quickly adapted to our complex marketing strategies by rolling-out customized features and integrated solutions,” said Brian Scheinblum, President of Cambean Hospitality. “InnPoints has adapted from the corporate world to the cutting edge features that one comes to expect while booking a hotel in South Beach and we look forward to continuing to work together with InnPoints as the launch partner for new features yet to come.” Through a strong client relationship, InnPoints worked side-by-side with executives at Cambean to gather input and feedback on specific enhancements and MyCRS system upgrades beneficial to both the Cambean group and the rest of InnPoints portfolio. Major customization and flexibility of the VIBE internet booking engine was delivered to Cambean Hospitality Hotels after weeks of research and development to find the best booking engine look, layout and functionality suitable for the group’s specific marketing strategy. “Hotels are finding that service and customization play a huge role when choosing a GDS or reservation marketing partner,” said Tia Hobgood, Director of Client Services at InnPoints Worldwide. “For that very reason, InnPoints is expanding rather quickly in the Miami market as hotels search for an intuitive partner.” Each of the four unique Cambean Hotels has its own distinctive personality, providing all guests with a hotel that bests suits their style or mood. While staying at the Clifton, guests can enjoy a classic boutique experience that is fresh, hip and eco-friendly. Placing guests only footsteps away from pristine beaches and aquamarine waters, the Majestic South Beach decorates the world famous Ocean Drive. Affordable chic best characterizes the Carlton. Currently, the Hotel Nash is being transformed into Lords South Beach at the Nash. When completed in late November 2010, the hotel promises a “quantum leap in gay travel.” About Cambean Hospitality Hotels Cambean Hospitality is a Miami Beach-based
