Nicolas Gautier Appointed General Manager and Nicolas Orget Promoted
to Executive Assistant Manager of Le Méridien Tahiti

September 16, 2010 (Tahiti) Le Méridien Tahiti is pleased to announce two significant appointments to its management team: Nicolas Gautier as General Manager and the promotion of Nicolas Orget from Director of Sales and Marketing to Executive Assistant Manager. Together, they bring 46 years of international luxury hospitality experience to the resort.

The appointment and promotion come during Le Méridien Tahitis property-wide renovation, which is scheduled to be complete in December 2010. The multi-million-dollar project, which includes enhancements to all public spaces and accommodations, will result in a contemporary, culturally refined and sophisticated atmosphere across the resort, bringing Le Méridien Tahiti in line with new standards for the Le Méridien brand.

Nicolas Gautier has a passion for hospitality and a deep commitment to being a part of the local community and were excited to put these attributes to good use in French Polynesia. Furthermore, Nicolas Orget has done a fantastic job as Director of Sales and Marketing for Le Méridien Tahiti and Le Méridien Bora Bora over the past three years. Were eager to have him implement creative initiatives as he ascends the management ladder, said Vincent Guerin, Director of Sales and Marketing of Le Méridien Tahiti and Bora Bora.

Drawing upon 27 years experience with the Le Méridien brand, Nicolas Gautier is responsible for all operations of Le Méridien Tahiti as General Manager. He joins the resort from Le Méridien Mandji in Gabon and Le Méridien Douala in Cameroon, where he served as General Manager at both properties.

Born in Algeria, Gautier earned a Scientific Baccalaureat from Lycee Henri IV and an Advanced Specialist degree in Hotel Management from Ecole Hoteliere Jean Drouant.

Orget served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Le Méridien Tahiti and Le Méridien Bora Bora since 2007. Born in Bordeaux, France, Orget studied hospitality and became a member of the Le Méridien team in 1999, where he was Yield Manager for Le Méridien Nice and later, Director of Sales and Marketing for Le Méridien Copacabana. Orget and Gautier worked together while at Le Méridien Nice.
