Hilton Worldwide Recognizes Hilton Asheville Biltmore Park®, in
Asheville North Carolina, with the Deal of Year Award

Asheville, NC. August 18, 2010 - The Hilton Asheville Biltmore Park®, located in Asheville North Carolina, recently received the Deal of Year Award presented by Hilton Worldwide. Development awards are presented across the company‘s standards of excellence in renovations, conversion, development, project management, community impact and investments.

Criteria for the Deal of the Year award include the impact on the community, highest quality development, fastest construction time, unique look and feel of the hotel and a unique location. Accepting the award was Biltmore Farms Hotels’ Vice President of Hospitality Development, Ron Storto.

About the Hilton Asheville Biltmore Park
The Hilton Asheville opened it’s doors in August of 2009 and is a full service luxury hotel located in Biltmore Park Town Square, Asheville’s first mixed-use community with shopping, dining, working and entertainment options. This 165 room hotel overlooks the French Broad River and the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. Guests enjoy many amenities including an indoor saline pool, complimentary high speed wireless Internet, an ultra modern fitness facility and more. The Hilton Asheville houses Roux, a delicious restaurant open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and also Sparrow Spa, a full service spa that uses all organic skin care products.

The Hilton Asheville Biltmore Park was designed and built with the environment in mind. This LEED registered hotel is the first in western North Carolina to utilize a solar powered hot water system which eliminates 25 tons of carbon dioxide a year. This is the equivalent of planting 7,000 trees.
