The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, July 2010 � Benchmark Hospitality International, a leading US-based hospitality management company, has announced the appointment of Sherri Budz as director of sales for the award-winning Eaglewood Resort & Spa of Itasca, Illinois, near Chicago.  Charles Reece, general manager, made the announcement.

Sherri Budz most recently served as senior sales manager for Eaglewood Resort & Spa, a position she assumed upon joining the property in 2008 and in which she experienced significant success.   

Ms. Budz has previously served in sales leadership positions for hotels and resorts within the greater Chicago and Northern Illinois markets, and in surrounding states for properties with a focus on penetrating the Chicago marketplace.  Earlier in her career, she gained important destination marketing experience working for a destination management company.

Sherri Budz received her Bachelor of Science in Speech Communications degree from the University of Illinois.  She resides in Warrenville, Illinois.
