NEW ORLEANS - July 9, 2010 - R. Brink Grush, a leader in the hospitality industry for 35 years, has been appointed director of sales and marketing for The Roosevelt New Orleans Hotel, part of the Waldorf Astoria Collection. 

Grush most recently served as the director of sales at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, a position he held since 2004. 
He began his career in the hotel industry at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in New Orleans. Prior to that, he held sales positions at The Fairmont Hotel, once again The Roosevelt, and at various Hyatt Regency locations across the country, including New Orleans, Houston and Tampa.

A New Orleans native, Grush earned a degree in business administration from Southeastern Louisiana University. He is an active member of the Professional Convention Management Association, Meeting Professionals International and Meadowbrook Homeowners Association.
