Mark Eble to Head Up Chicago Office

23, 2010 - Colliers PKF Consulting USA, the U.S. hospitality industry specialist
of Colliers International, has opened an office in Chicago, increasing
its presence in the Midwest. The office will be led by Mark Eble, a long
time veteran of the Chicago hotel market.
Mr. Eble began his career in Chicago in 1981 with the hotel consultancy at Laventhol & Horwath, after graduation from Cornell's School of Hotel Administration. Eble lived in Chicago for twelve years before moving to New York City to join the lodging consulting group at Coopers & Lybrand LLC. Mr. Eble has led PKF's Midwestern practice from Indianapolis since 2004. Before joining PKF Consulting, Eble was a Senior Vice President with Resort Condominiums International. Eble has managed and conducted hundreds of consulting assignments, involving both the public and private sectors, throughout the U.S. and in Europe and Asia. He has worked for the industry's leading lenders, developers, chains, and management companies and has an in-depth knowledge of most aspects of hospitality operations, development, and financing. Eble has been quoted on hospitality issues in The Wall Street Journal, The Chicago Tribune, Crain's Chicago Business, The New York Times, The Economist, USA Today, the Bloomberg Business Report, and has appeared as a travel industry expert on CNN Business News.
