ETVi, iBAHN’s Integrated IPTV Platform for Hospitality,
Shows Global Growth of 71%

iBAHN’s ETVi Drives Technology Innovation While Creating Delighted Guests

Salt Lake City (August 19, 2010) – iBAHN, the worldwide leader in digital entertainment and Internet-based solutions for the hospitality and meeting industries, today announced the accomplishment of several key benchmarks in the first two quarters of 2010. Currently the only company in its space providing a full platform of Internet and digital entertainment/information solutions, iBAHN now serves more than 300,000 hotel guest rooms on six continents, with installations, local services and customer support in 41 countries. Its IPTV platform, ETVi, brings unique differentiators to its installed properties along with new revenue and cost-saving opportunities.

Hotel rooms installed with the ETVi platform increased 71% from June 2009 to June 2010 and, in the first half of 2010, the company has already exceeded its 2009 total year sales of ETVi.  This high level of growth highlights the clear push within the hospitality industry toward IP-based technologies that help to differentiate properties and brands in local markets.  Its newest business region has more than doubled its overall number of installed hotels throughout the region, and has made several key employee additions to serve its customers. And, the company has seen significantly increased numbers in meetings and conferences served worldwide.

“Being truly global brings value to our partners in several ways,” notes David W. Garrison, iBAHN’s chief executive officer.  “Not only can we provide them with the ability to create a consistent brand experience around the world, we are able to support our partners with our local teams while continuing to focus on the future products and services that hotels and their guests will require.”
Its other regions continue to have sustained growth in overall installed room base, while also investing in additional staff to meet the growing requirements of its customers and posting positive net income growth for the first half of 2010.

As a result of the company’s continued and increased investment in research and development, iBAHN will introduce several new features and functionalities on its ETVi platform throughout 2010 and into 2011.  The company’s global product management and development organization, based in Stirling, Scotland, is supported by several regional product management teams around the world as iBAHN continues to invest more in research, development and product worldwide than any of its competitors.
