Wyndham and Highgate Holdings Execs Cut the Ribbon for the
Renamed Parc 55 Wyndham San Francisco-Union Square

August 6, 2010 - Wyndham Worldwide President and CEO Eric Danziger and the owners of Parc 55 Hotel in San Francisco recently celebrated their new partnership with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and luncheon at the newly renamed Parc 55 Wyndham San Francisco-Union Square.

The luncheon was attended by 100 clients, partners, guests and media -- and everyone was invited to participate in the ribbon-cutting as the traditional red ribbon wrapped all the way around the Cyril Magnin Ballroom in an untraditional fashion, drawing everyone into the celebration.  Guests were invited to join in the ribbon-cutting and were encouraged to exchange their portion of the ribbon for a complimentary cocktail at Parc 55 Wyndhams cityhouse restaurant.  cityhouse Executive Chef Brian Healy served fabulous food and guests were greeted with their preferred welcome drinks, consistent with Wyndhams hospitable ByRequest guest recognition program.  San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom even declared June 17th Parc 55 Wyndham San Francisco-Union Square Day in the city of San Francisco.

Demonstrating its resurgent strength in major center-city markets, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts announced in March that the 1,011-room Parc 55 Hotel San Francisco, located near Union Square in the heart of San Franciscos shopping, dinner and theater districts, would be branded as a Wyndham hotel.  The conversion took place on April 28th and the ribbon-cutting celebration was on June 17th.

Last year, Parc 55 completed a $30 million, top-to-bottom redesign of the hotel that includes upgrades to all guest rooms and suites including 37-inch plasma TVs, the Club Lounge and the Fitness Center as well as a reconfiguration of the lobby and front desk and expansion of the hotels award-winning meeting and event facilities to 30,000 square feet.

Parc 55 Wyndham is owned and operated by Highgate Holdings, a privately held investment firm headquartered in Dallas, in partnership with affiliates of Rockpoint Group, L.L.C., a global real estate investment management firm with offices in the United States, Europe and Japan.
