Sale of Entire Hotel Inventory Will Be Open to the Public

Paducah, KY (August, 2010) Fans and friends of the former Executive Inn Hotel will have their chance to take home a piece of the Big E when the hotels doors open  to the public one last time during a Public Liquidation Sale opening Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 10:00 am.

The City of Paducah, Youngblood Excavating, and PRC Environmental have contracted with National Content Liquidators, Inc. (NCL) of Springboro, OH, leading experts in hotel liquidation management, to divest the property of all saleable assets to make way for demolition of the property for future redevelopment.

The sale will continue for the next 45 days. Early arrival is encouraged as hundreds of people are expected to walk through the doors in the first few days and the sale is first come, first serve.  Admission is free. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am 7:00 pm; and Sunday, Noon 5:00 pm.

There are many items that are sure to be of sentimental interest to past guests that spent a lot of enjoyable times at the Executive Inn, says Don Hayes, President of NCL. But there are also plenty of items for those just looking for a great deal on household and/or restaurant furnishings and fixtures.

Select items for sale include 434 guestrooms and suites, featuring color TVs, king and full beds, credenzas, nightstands, mirrors and lamps, dining tables, sofas and loveseats, artwork, vanity sinks, writing desks and desk chairs; along with bar and restaurant furnishings, kitchen equipment, stack chairs, late model commercial laundry equipment, office furniture, street lights, French doors, and much more.

To view photographs of select sale items, visit NCLs website at www.nclsales.com under current sales events.

All items are tagged, priced and sold as is, where is on a first-come, first-served basis. Buyer removes purchases. Payment by cash, Visa or MasterCard only. All items subject to prior sale. Buyers premium of 10% on all purchases made by buyer.

It may sound a little cliché, but everything must go, continues Hayes. We are working to empty the property as quickly as possible, so that the building can be readied for demolition later this year.
