Innisfree's $31 million Hampton Inn & Suites in Orange Beach, Alabama
40% Complete; Gabe DiCianni Appointed General Manager

Orange Beach, Ala. (Aug. 6, 2010) — Innisfree Hotels and general contractor Robins & Morton are pleased to report on the progress and development of the Hampton Inn & Suites in Orange Beach, Ala. A “Topping Out,” ceremony on August 6th commemorated completion of the building’s foundation and framework and marked a significant milestone in the progression of the new hotel. Construction of the $31 million project is now 40% complete and a grand opening is planned for March 15, 2011.

Robins & Morton chief operating officer, Robin Savage, commented on the project, “The commemoration of placing the final steel beam of the hotel structure into place is a continuation of a long-standing tradition in the construction industry. We celebrate and applaud the efforts of our construction team, the developers and everyone involved in the building of the new Hampton Inn & Suites.”
Founder and chief executive officer of Innisfree Hotels, Julian MacQueen, and president of Innisfree Development Jeff Townsend joined future general manager, Gabe DiCianni at the Topping Out ceremony. DiCianni, who currently works for the Hilton Garden Inn in Orange Beach, has been with Innisfree for the past 11 years and is a certified hotel administrator (CHA). “It’s truly an honor to be asked to open the Hampton Inn & Suites in Orange Beach for Innisfree Hotels,” DiCianni said. “After being in the industry this long, I’ve begun to understand that what Julian MacQueen has created in this organization is something special. It’s very exciting to be a part of this process and I look forward to being able to welcome guests to our outstanding new hotel.”
The nine story 160-room hotel will feature 5,000 square feet of Gulf-front meeting space and a second floor fitness center with views of the ocean. The beachfront property is directly across from Publix and the Shoppes at Palm Pointe.  Additional features of the hotel will include garage parking, a zero-entry pool, a pool bar and a dune walk-over that leads to the beach. The new hotel is expected to employ more than 75 people upon completion.
