Capella Hotels Appoints Holly Waterbor-Breuche as the Director of Sales
and Marketing for The Setai Fifth Avenue, New York City

NEW YORK Aug. 3, 2010 Capella Hotels and Resorts has appointed New York hotelier Holly Waterbor-Breuche as the Director of Sales and Marketing for The Setai Fifth Avenue. Scheduled to open on Nov. 1, 2010, The Setai Fifth Avenue will emerge as first true luxury hotel in midtown Manhattan.

Holly is a dynamic force in the hotel industry, said Guenter H. Richter, Managing Director, The Setai Fifth Avenue. Throughout her career she has displayed both creativity and innovation - delivering exceptional results for some of the finest hotels in the world.  Her unique combination of sales and operational experience makes her a unique asset for The Setai Fifth Avenue.

Breuches hands-on management style has successfully steered several of the citys most elite hotels through openings and re-positionings. After launching her career at New York landmarks, The Plaza and The Waldorf=Astoria, she ascended to Associate Director of Sales at the national sales office of Hyatt Hotels where she represented a portfolio of more than 150 properties. Her rapid rise in the industry soon led to the role of Director of Sales and Marketing at both the Omni Berkshire Hotel and the New York Palace.  Breuche later served as Hotel Manager and Acting General Manager for the Omni Berkshire before taking the helm at the Benjamin Hotel.  During that time, Breuche held the distinction of being one of only five female General Managers in New York City.

Holly Waterbor-Breuche further expanded and refined her capabilities as Regional Director of Marketing at the deluxe Morgans Hotel Group. Throughout her tenure at Morgans, Breuche propelled the brand forward and managed extensive campaigns on a consumer trade front, including the opening and re-positioning of the iconic Royalton Hotel.

Breuche was also the opening General Manager of the Chelsea Hotel, the first luxury non-gaming hotel in Atlantic City, and was responsible for the operations, sales, marketing, budgeting, and strategic planning of this $100 million property.

Before joining The Setai Fifth Avenue, Breuche made a successful foray into the consulting side of the hotel business. She harnessed all of her experience, abundant industry knowledge, and determination into the launch of HB Hospitality Group, a multi-faceted hospitality consulting company, which blended a multitude of services and was designed to create successful sales, marketing and public relations campaigns, and operational initiatives.

Breuche earned a BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Southern New Hampshire and is an esteemed member of the Waldorf=Astoria Distinguished Alumni Association. Her wealth of achievements includes the US Director of the Year Award from Omni Hotels, a nomination for Silver Plume Awards GM of the Year, and an award winning term as President of the Big Apple Chapter of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International, which was named Chapter of the Year under her leadership. Breuche is also a former board member of HSMAI and served as Chairman of the Educational Committee of the Hotel Association of New York City.

Breuche is currently the Executive Director of The Waterbor Burn and Cancer Foundation.
