CARLSBAD, CA (August 9, 2010) -- Grand Pacific Resort Management (GPRM), a privately owned vacation ownership management company located in Carlsbad, CA has been awarded the contract to manage the Mountain Retreat Resort in Arnold, CA.

Mountain Retreat, an RCI Gold Crown Resort, is nestled in the quiet Sierra pines of Arnold, California in Calaveras County, 2-4 hours drive from Lake Tahoe, Yosemite and the San Francisco Bay area.  Purpose-built in 1982, the resort features duplex mountain-style units with numerous entries and configurations that afford optimum privacy.

The original developer, Tom Porter of Deerwood Corporation, has been managing the property since its inception.  GPRM has begun providing resort management services with a gradual transition as of August 1.
