Hong Kong Based Regal Hotels Opens Development
& Networking Office in Shanghai
May 26, 2010 - To strengthen and intensify the business networking and reinforce efforts on project development, Regal Hotels Investment & Management (Shanghai) Ltd. Office and Regal Hotels International China Regional Office has relocated to North Cao Xi Road in Shanghai recently. To celebrate the movement, an opening ceremony was held on May 20 with lots of guests attended including Mr. Yang of China National Offshore Oil Corporation, Section Chief Shou of Shanghai People's Procuratorate and Mr. Rahul Jain, General Manager of Air India, etc. Regal Hotels International (RHI) has actively expanded its hotel network with its first regional office Regal Hotels Investment & Management (Shanghai) Ltd. [previously named �Regal Hotels Management (Shanghai) Limited�] set up in mid 2008, it signified the Group moving a step further to flourish the relationship with both the tourism partners and the hotel owners. The rapid economic growth in China drives lots of overseas business and leisure travellers visiting China while the speedy raise in personal income and uplift on living standard boosts the uptrend in domestic demand for hospitality service. All these definitely contribute to an increase figure in the demand on quality hotels service which reflected by a sustainable growth in the travel and hotel industry as a long run. To coupe with the positive impact from organizing Shanghai World Expo 2010, hotel development in Shanghai and the Eastern China region will be further enriched. Hence, RHI first China Regional Office was set up last year to tie-in with the trend in Shanghai. Lead by Mr. Ben Poon, Group Director of Sales, RHI and Regional Director of Sales & Marketing - China of Regal Hotels Investment & Management (Shanghai) Ltd., the focus of China Regional Office will be on marketing strategies, sales and reservations activities of Regal Hotels and grasps every business opportunity in the targeted markets to maximize the revenues and profits.
