Midas Hospitality Appoints Robert Willard SVP-Operations
and Kurt Furlong as SVP-Sales & Marketing

SAINT LOUIS, MO, May 19, 2010 – St. Louis-based hotel management and development, Midas Hospitality is proud to announce the hiring of Robert Willard & Kurt Furlong.
 
Willard and Furlong co-founded CPC Hospitality in 2007, also based in St. Louis, and served as SVP-Operations and SVP-Sales & Marketing respectively and will hold similar responsibilities with Midas Hospitality.
 
Midas Hospitality, co-founded by David Robert, President, and J.T. Norville, CFO, was established in 2006 and quickly became one of the premier hotel management groups in the Midwest.  Midas has developed, opened and managed numerous properties including Crowne Plaza, Four Points by Sheraton, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites, Candlewood Suites, Hampton Inn, Comfort Inn, Ramada Inn, Super 8, and Fairfield by Marriott among others.

As president, David Robert will serve as asset manager, investor relations and portfolio development for Midas.  He has over 20 years of hospitality experience and has previously held executive positions with HMA Hotels, Impac Hotels, MidAmerica Hotels and Intercontinental Hotel Group.
 
J.T. Norville will continue his role as CFO for Midas and will oversee the Finance and Accounting Department of the company including banker relationships, monthly financial reporting, payroll processing, and disbursements for all hotels under Midas’s management.  Norville says “The systems, policies and procedures established for the hotels are critical in the financial success of the Midas hotels.”  He continue saying “our financial management is so sound that other management companies utilize our services for their financial reporting.”
 
Joining Midas as SVP-Operations, Rob Willard will oversee the hotel operations.  Rob is known in the industry for high performance, high integrity operations and straight-forward management style. His 20+ year career is marked by relentless dedication to service, profitability and award winning achievement at every level. Rob co-founded CPC Hospitality in 2007 overseeing operations of 2 hotels and three hotel developments delivering market leading N.O.I. growth, while delivering high customer service ratings.
 
As SVP-Sales & Marketing, Kurt Furlong will oversee the Sales & Marketing division of Midas. With over 20-years in the industry, Kurt is known for successfully repositioning assets through aggressive revenue growth and increased market share with his expertise in revenue generation and revenue management. Prior to co-founding CPC Hospitality with Willard, he served as Vice President of Revenue for Lodgian Inc. Where he was responsible for revenue generation and revenue strategy for 43 hotels of varying brands generating over a $280 million in revenue.  
 
Both Rob and Kurt began their careers in 1988 with Winegardner & Hammons while obtaining their Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management from The Ohio State University.
