The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, May 2010 � Benchmark Hospitality International has named S. Drew Toth director of sales and marketing for the Villas of Grand Cypress, the golf resort located in Orlando, Florida.  Ted Davis, vice president sales and marketing for the leading privately held hospitality management company, made the announcement. 

"We welcome Drew to the Villas of Grand Cypress and to Benchmark Hospitality International,� said Mr. Davis.  �He brings important experience within the Florida and luxury markets to his new role, and we�re pleased to have him on our sales and marketing team.�

Drew Toth previously held the position of regional director � Florida for Destination Hotels & Resorts.  In this role he oversaw the marketing, sales and public relations programming for the Intercontinental Tampa and The Shores Resort & Spa of Daytona Beach, significantly increasing overall revenues and RevPar for each property despite challenging market conditions.

Mr. Toth has served as senior vice president � Washington, DC, for Associated Luxury Hotels International, representing 100 four and five star resorts worldwide and overseeing group sales within the MidAtlantic and the Southern United States.

Toth gained off shore experience working for the Westin Rio Mar Beach Golf Resort & Spa, a destination resort in Puerto Rico where he held the title of vice president sales and marketing.  Prior to this position he was vice president � east coast operations for Helms Briscoe, the global site selection and meeting services company. 

Drew Toth is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, where he earned his Bachelors in Business Administration degree.  He is a member of Meeting Professionals International, the Professional Convention Management Association, and American Society of Association Executives.
