SAN DIEGO (June 28, 2010) � Chris Harrington has been appointed to management positions at two resorts in Park City, Utah�s popular Rocky Mountain resort destination. He was named general manager of The Lodge at Stillwater, managed by LaTour Hotels and Resorts, and general manager of Tapestry Resorts� owner rental program at Shadow Ridge Resort & Conference Center.

At Stillwater, he is responsible for overseeing the lodge and its facilities, including supervising day-to-day activities of all departments, assisting guests, and achieving goals and objectives for growth, revenue generation, cost control, employee development and guest satisfaction.

�Harrington is a consummate travel professional and has been a valuable member of our team since 2004,� said John Small, chairman of Tapestry Resorts and co-chairman of LaTour Hotels and Resorts. �His accomplished career with us has taken him from the beaches of Florida to Hawaii, specializing in the operations side of leisure travel and vacation ownership. With his proven leadership skills, he was the perfect candidate to take the helm at Stillwater, one of our premier Park City properties, and manage our timeshare rental program at Shadow Ridge.� 

Harrington brings over 15 years of travel and hospitality experience, including six years with Tapestry Resorts. He was previously general manager of Kona Reef Resort � a Tapestry Resorts property in Kona, Hawaii � before transferring to Park City.  He also served for three years as director of travel services for Travel Escapes Club, Tapestry Resorts� members-only travel club, as well as manager of Tapestry Resorts� East Coast operations from 2004 to 2007.

Prior to joining Tapestry Resorts, he was operations manager of group travel and convention services at Pegasus Travel Group. He also has an extensive background in call center management with Advanced Travel Group and American Express Corporate Travel.

Harrington holds a Bachelor of Science degree in recreation and leisure administration from York College of Pennsylvania.
