MERRILLVILLE, Ind., April 6, 2010 - White Lodging, one of the leading independent hospitality, development and management companies in the United States has appointed Shannon Linahan to the position of Regional Director of Sales and Marketing. In this position she will oversee sales performance for select service hotels in Colorado, Utah,Arizona, and Illinois.

A 25 year veteran of Marriott International, Ms. Linahan joins White Lodging with a wealth of experience in both the operation and sales disciplines.  As General Manager of Marriott Mountain Shadows Resort, she lead her team to achieving significant RevPar increases and cost savings in productivity, while remaining in the top 20 rankings for overall service.  Providing the strategic expertise to drive top line revenues through in-depth tactical sales and marketing support, Ms. Linahan went on to hold a senior sales position in the Western Region first as the Select and Extended Stay Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, overseeing 92 hotels and most recently as the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Marriott International/Renaissance Hotels where she was responsible for 38 Full Service properties.
