London - April 14th 2010: Easy (Ez) Revenue Management Solutions Ltd (EasyRMS) is proud to announce the appointment of Mike Gadbury to their management team, a prominent and respected figure in the Hospitality IT industry, whose career has been spent entirely in the computer business; the last thirty years of which were exclusively in the hospitality industry.

In 1980 Mike took the role of Data Processing Manager for Trusthouse Forte, where he was instrumental in developing a networked CRS system; perhaps the first networked micro computer system in the world at the time.
 
In 1984 he moved to the supply side and set up International Guest Systems (IGS), to promote the INNSTAR and IGS HOTEL Property Management Systems. He aimed to fill gaps in the market he had identified whilst working at Trusthouse Forte, installing what was probably then the largest PC networked PMS. IGS became the dominant supplier in the UK during the Eighties and Nineties and Mike sold IGS to what today has become SoftBrands, but stayed on to develop new products and manage many acquisitions.
 
In 2002 Mike was offered the challenge to establish VisualOne in the UK and Ireland, and so launched the company at Hostec the following year, going on to become a leader in these markets. VisualOne was sold to Agilysys in 2007, and following a year’s handover, Mike made the decision to leave the PMS industry and seek a new challenge.
