WATERFORD, CT (March 15, 2010) --- Waterford Hotel Group recently held
their Annual Leadership Conference at the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa
in Groton, CT. More than 65 managers representing 25 properties managed
by Waterford Hotel Group and the company�s corporate office attended the
meeting to share ideas and set goals and strategies for 2010. The conference
included informative breakout strategy sessions, a keynote address given
by author and Fresh Revenues Founder Don Farrell, and an Awards Ceremony
where Waterford Hotel Group recognized its top performing teams and individuals.
Receives
During the awards ceremony, Waterford�s recognitions included Juanita
Smith, a room attendant at the Hilton Hartford hotel who was chosen from
a pool or nearly 1800 associates as Associate of the Year, and the 78-room
Residence Inn by Marriott in Danbury, CT recognized as Hotel Team of the
Year. Additional awards were announced in the following categories: General
Manager of the Year, Director of Sales of the Year, Department Head of
the Year, �Whatever it Takes�, Most Improved RevPAR, Charitable Excellence,
as well as various department performance awards.
