been certified as compliant with the Safe
Harbor privacy framework, as defined by the U.S. Department of
the Swiss Government and the European Commission.
,,,,,The Safe Harbor program was developed and established by the three combined global governmental agencies in 1998, in order to harmonize the significant differences between U.S. and European laws regarding online privacy and data protection criteria. Primarily intended to govern organizations transferring personal data over the internet to the U.S. from Europe, participating companies are required to adhere to key principles aimed at ensuring sound privacy practices and preventing the accidental disclosure or loss of critical information during the process.
