Kerry Stebbins Named Director of Business Development for

Tapestry Resorts, the Hospitality Management Division of ResortCom International



SAN DIEGO (March 10, 2010) – Tapestry Resorts, the newly branded hospitality management division of ResortCom International, has announced Kerry Stebbins as its new director of business development.

Stebbins brings over 30 years in the vacation exchange, hospitality, travel and vacation ownership industries to Tapestry Resorts.
Exemplifying the company tagline of “We Listen, We Deliver, We Guarantee It,” Stebbins will focus on developing leads and opportunities within Tapestry Resorts core products, including resort management, club management and reservation services. Continuing to build the company’s reputation, she will also establish new contacts and maintain current client relationships. Stebbins will be based at the Tapestry Resorts corporate headquarters in San Diego.

“Kerry’s goal-oriented attitude and strong leadership experience are incredible assets to our management team,” said John Small, chairman of Tapestry Resorts. “We are confident that she will help strengthen and grow the Tapestry Resorts brand, as we work to identify client’s needs, provide relevant solutions and guarantee success.”

Stebbins' prior experience includes working as the manager, global accounts for HelmsBriscoe, the industry's largest hotel/meeting site-selection company, where she regularly consulted with clients on industry trends and negotiated contracts with major hotel partners. She also served as director of business development for Stewart Vacation Ownership and regional director western region for RCI.  In each of these positions, Stebbins has a proven history in all aspects of client acquisition, management and service.

As a dedicated American Resort Development Association (ARDA) member, Kerry has earned ARDA's RRP (Registered Resort Professional) Award, a designation given to those industry leaders who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to high ethical and professional standards through long-term participation in educational and industry-related activities.

Stebbins is also a participant in Women in the Industry (WIN), which advocates, educates and connects women in the vacation industry, and an active volunteer for Hands on Disaster Response, a nonprofit organization that provides hands-on assistance to survivors of natural disasters around the world.

Always looking to further her education, Stebbins holds certificates in marketing management from Indiana University Graduate School of Business; international business studies, marketing and finance from Coastline Community College; and human relations management and sales management from Orange Coast College.
