InnPoints Connects Hotels Directly With Expedia
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. � MARCH 16, 2010 � InnPoints Worldwide, provider of reservation marketing and electronic distribution solutions for hotels, today announced its most recent system integration with Expedia, Inc. which automates the exchange of hotel reservation room and rate information with Expedia�s online travel sites through Expedia QuickConnect�. The XML interface allows InnPoints independent hotel and chain hotel clients to manage single image inventory through MyCRS, InnPoints central reservation system. The interface also ensures rate parity across all channels and simplifies distribution management. A significant increase in Expedia channel reservations is expected as InnPoints hotels will have the ability to sell up to the last room availability. The Heathman Hotel Portland, one of the first hotels to adopt the Expedia QuickConnect� interface with MyCRS, previously managed a separate extranet for Expedia channels which created double work and unstable rate management for General Manager Chris Erickson. �We can now manage our Expedia listing along with our other GDS/IDS distribution channels on one central site, allowing for optimum rate parity and ease of management through the MyCRS derived rate feature.� The interface is now available to all InnPoints Worldwide MyCRS users.
