WHITE PLAINS, NY, January 18, 2010�The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) is now accepting seminar proposals for the 95th annual International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show® (IH/M&RS), North America's premier event for the hospitality industry.  Industry experts are encouraged to submit timely and relevant topics for consideration, to be presented during the IH/M&RS, November 13-16, 2010, at New York City's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.  The deadline to submit proposals is March 1, 2010.

Proposals focused on trend-driven information, within the areas of lodging ownership and management, consumer travel trends, sustainability and related issues, will be given preference.  Additional topics of interest include hospitality design, technology, human resources, hotel operations, food and beverage and sales and marketing. 

Proposals should include a presentation title, brief content description and a biography for each speaker.  Seminars featuring a panel of experts should be indicated as a panel presentation and include the names and biographies for each speaker.  Seminars should be structured to fit within a 90-minute timeframe.

The 95th annual International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show will run Saturday, November 13, through Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at New York City's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.  Following a full-day of conference and networking activities on Saturday, November 13, the IH/M&RS will feature three full days of exhibits from Sunday, November 14, through Tuesday, November 16.  The market presents some 700 hospitality industry suppliers and attracts 30,000 in total trade attendance.
