Bandera Hospitality Names Howard Jacobs as Director
of Sales and Marketing
for the Holiday Inn Resort in Palm Springs
Palm Springs, CA, January 12, 2009 – Bandera Hospitality, a division of Broughton Hospitality that manages and operates branded and franchised hotels, has named Howard Jacobs as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Holiday Inn Resort in Palm Springs. Jacobs, a local resident of Palm Springs, has 30 years of experience in the hotel and travel industry and has spent the last 19 as the Director of Sales for the Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism, where he managed and marketed tourism programs and was responsible for significant increases in motor coach business and national and international tour operations for the city. In his new role, Jacobs will lead all sales and marketing efforts for the resort property including developing programs to raise occupancy levels and increase guest satisfaction. In addition, Jacobs will be tasked with generating additional group and tour business for the 6-acre full-service resort property. “We’re excited to have Howard on board at The Holiday Inn Resort. His industry experience and local insight will help us identify new market opportunities for the resort and enhance the overall guest experience,” states Larry Broughton, President of Bandera Hospitality.
