Dave Cocks Named Managing Director of the
Edgewater Hotel in Seattle, Washington

 
Seattle (January 4, 2010) � The Edgewater Hotel is pleased to announce the addition of Dave Cocks to its senior management team as Managing Director. 
 
Cocks comes to The Edgewater from Gemstone Hotels & Resorts in Park City, Utah, where he was the Vice President of Operations. During his tenure there Cocks was responsible for overseeing 14 luxury properties with revenues exceeding $90 million annually. He brings nearly 30 years of experience managing hotels and resorts across the North America, including properties in Anchorage, Boston, Redondo Beach, and Toronto. Cocks will be responsible for overseeing The Edgewater�s executive teams in addition to daily operations of the historic hotel.
 
Previous to his work at Gemstone Hotels & Resorts, Cocks was the Executive Vice President of Operations for Noble House Hotels & Resorts and managed operations for all of the company�s hotels, including The Edgewater. A native of San Diego, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada.
