Broughton Hospitality Appoints Charlie Robles to Area
Manager for
Three Hotels in the Palm Springs, California Vicinity
Newport Beach, CA, January 21, 2010 � Broughton Hospitality, a boutique hotel operations and management company, has appointed Charlie Robles to Area Manager for the company�s three desert area hotels. In his new role, Robles will continue his primary duties as General Manager for the Holiday Inn Resort in Palm Springs, where he is charged with aggressively growing revenue for the 249-room hotel, and will also oversee key operations activities at the Andreas Hotel & Spa in Palm Springs and the Mojave Resort in Palm Desert. Robles joined Broughton in 2008, and prior to his position at the Holiday Inn Resort, which is managed by Broughton sister company Bandera Hospitality, Robles was the general manager for the Andreas Hotel & Spa, which is owned and operated by Broughton Hospitality. Robles has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry and
was the opening GM of the Parker Palm Springs Hotel, where he oversaw hotel
renovation and brand re-positioning. He also served as
Managing Partner of the Caliente Tropics Resort and has held previous management
positions at Joie De Vivre hotels.
