The Wilderman Group Appoints Jeannie Green General Manager at
Richmond Hill City Center, a Conference Center Located
in Richmond Hill, Georgia

(Richmond Hill, GA) February 2010 John G. Wilderman, President of The Wilderman Group, announced the appointment of Jeannie Green of Richmond Hill, GA to the position of General Manager.  In making the appointment, Mr. Wilderman said, we are delighted to welcome Jeannie to The Wilderman Group in her important role at Richmond Hill City Center.  She is exactly the person we were hoping to discover, and thrilled that she brings significant experience as a hospitality professional as well as being mother of five, a local volunteer firefighter, and familiar face at local city council meetings in Richmond Hill.

In her role as General Manager, Ms. Green will introduce Richmond Hill City Center to the community and the coastal region for weddings, meetings and special events. In addition, she will manage the day-to-day operations of the facility to achieve the established financial targets for the center and will be responsible for preparing budgets, marketing strategies and managing expectations for the new multi-use facility.  Her responsibilities will also include stewardship of the propertys innovative sustainable hospitality programs.

Ms. Green brings solid hands-on experience to the position, having served as Regional Sales Manager and Director of Catering for the Mansion on Forsyth Park and Bohemian Hotel Savannah Riverfront.  Her responsibilities included both corporate and associate markets in the Southeast region as well as food and beverage/catering experience for a variety of corporate and social events and functions.

Ms. Green commented that her experience is strong and relevant to what we want to accomplish at Richmond Hill City Center.  This tremendous new facility has so much to offer for a great variety of events from important team meetings to high-level board meetings, and from intimate luncheons to elaborate weddings,  larger community functions and special events.

Ms. Green participated in a ceremonial ribbon-cutting event last month that recognized elected officials, members of the community, project managers, architects, interior designers, and construction teams on this highly-anticipated $6.2 million community development project that is projected to bring jobs, revenue and community pride to this coastal Georgia town with a population of 11,000.

In her new capacity as General Manager, Ms. Green swiftly announced the appointment of Ms. Jenny Sharp also of Richmond Hill -- to the position of Executive Assistant Manager at Richmond Hill City Center.  Ms. Sharp will support the operations and service delivery utilizing her vast Food & Beverage experience, most recently working with catering companies servicing Richmond Hill and the Savannah marketplace.  Jenny gives highest priority to service excellence and quality culinary experiences just as I do, shared Ms. Green, and together we are building a strong team reflective of this great venue.

Richmond Hill City Center is designed to host a variety of event types and sizes including larger conferences with simultaneous break-outs sessions and full-sized ballroom for receptions.  The meeting rooms have direct access through French doors onto a spacious wrap-around covered verandah that overlooks the beautiful coastal marshlands and nature trails.  According to Michael Melton, Richmond Hill City Manager, The Richmond Hill City Center will be the first commercial facility in Bryan County certified by the US Green Building Councils (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).  LEED certification provides building operators and owners a concise framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations, and maintenance solutions.

According to Kristin Kurie, Vice President of The Wilderman Group, a Spring Open House is planned to coincide with Georgia Cities Week and Earth Day celebrations.  This will be the ideal opportunity to introduce Richmond Hill City Center to the community and local and regional business representatives to encourage them to learn more about the City Center and to experience the many unique aspects it has to offer to the local and regional community.
