“We are excited to have such a distinguished panel of hotel leaders agree to speak at HIFI, which clearly demonstrates the importance of India to these worldwide hotel companies,” said Jim Burba, President of BHN, a co-host of HIFI.  “Their perspectives on the state of the global lodging industry, and their views about the hotel opportunities in India will be of great benefit to our HIFI delegates, “ Burba added.

“HIFI is honoured to present a panel of eminent industry leaders; we look forward to benefit from their years of invaluable experience across the globe, overseeing 15,000 hotels and other tourism products and implementing aggressive development strategies including in India  said Vijay Thacker, Director, Horwath HTL India and HIFI co-host.

HIFI will focus on hotel and tourism investment opportunities in India, which has seen a rapid expansion of its hotel and tourism industry over the past decade.  With the current economic slowdown coming to an end, investment interest in the Indian hotel sector is expected to resume strong growth over the next several years.
