(Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading provider of innovative information technology and hospitality software solutions, has announced that Barnbougle Dunes in Bridport, Tasmania has selected the Visual One software suite by Agilysys to streamline operations and enhance guest service at the world-famous golf resort. The property is also using GolfPro by Agilysys to manage its pro shop. �Agilysys provides solutions that work together to manage room accommodations, restaurant operations and golf facilities,� said Gary Dixon, general manager at Barnbougle Dunes. �Our sister property, Bandon Dunes, has been using the Visual One system for quite a while; and, based on their experience, we believed it was the right solution for our property. We also like GolfPro by Agilysys, which enables us to integrate point-of-sale as well as scheduling of caddies and carts. The stock control component is extremely efficient and has all the tools and reporting features needed to track and control every aspect of our operation.� The Visual One� Property Management System is a comprehensive property management solution that offers a wide range of features and functionality, including front office operations, guest history, housekeeping, reservations management and more. Its user-friendly screens are laid out in a logical, easy-to-use format with quick-feature icons and drag-and-drop capabilities. The solution, which runs on a Microsoft SQL Server database, has modules for accounting, club management, comp accounting, condo accounting, guest marketing and sales and catering. Barnbougle Dunes uses the Visual One Retail POS in its pro shop to manage sales and inventory, create purchase orders and calculate discounts. It gives users the option to post golf charges to a guest�s room or settle by cash, check or credit card. The property also uses the Visual One POS solution to manage its restaurant and bar operations. GolfPro by Agilysys enables total management of golf course operations, including tee time scheduling, member billing and tournament management. GolfPro integrates seamlessly with the Visual One Property Management System so that staff can easily book tee times during the room reservation process.
