For the leisure or business traveler, this means more natural light with the same great amenities they already associate with Embassy Suites. For the developer, the new design requires lower energy and construction costs than our previous design, helping their bottom lines.”
Joan Johnson, president of the Hotel & Lodging Association of Greater Houston, and Sarah Bardwell, member services coordinator for the Houston West Chamber of Commerce, addressed the group prior to the ribbon cutting, both stating that the Houston Embassy Suites – Energy Corridor fills a real need within the West Houston community for a new, full-service hotel.
“As the areas premier social and professional networking organization located at the northeast corner of Richmond and the Beltway, we are pleased to see another full-service hotel come to the Energy Corridor,” Bardwell said, as she presented the owner with the ribbon-cutting scissors to officially open the hotel. “On behalf of the Houston West Chamber of Commerce, we believe this hotel provides a wonderful example of the growth and emergence of West Houston.
