Hospitality Group, Inc. (SHG) based in Freeport, Illinois has assumed
management of the Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express Champaign/Urbana.
The 201-room Holiday Inn and the 74-room Holiday Inn Express bring the
company’s total number of rooms under management to 1,163, which
represents 13 lodging properties in Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin. “Both properties have been upgraded as part of the Holiday Inn Relaunch program,” said Swift President and CEO David Swift. “More than $3 million was invested to upgrade the fullservice Holiday Inn, including public spaces, guest rooms, and exterior lighting and landscaping. Like Swift Hospitality, Holiday Inn is committed to revitalization and extraordinary customer service.” The Holiday Inn features all of the amenities expected at a Swift Hospitality hotel – new, comfortable furnishings and beds as well as flat-screen televisions and a spacious work area to take advantage of the hotel’s free high-speed wireless Internet access.
